The Occupation:

For many years, Palestine was under the control of many countries because of its strategic location and the fact that different religions including. This is what makes the land of the Palestinians under occupation to this day. And one of the examples of these countries is England, when she tried to get out of Palestine, at time they established this Balfour Declaration. This Declaration allowed the Jews to come to this land and occupied it. I took two walks, and this is how they are connected:
England has adopted since the beginning of the twentieth century policy of an entity Jewish politician in Palestine, estimated it would remain subject to the influence and going on satellites and in need of protection and care will be in future operator of the Arabs straining forces and Iorthm abiding concern hamper any attempt at unity among them. Britain and culminated in this policy, the Balfour Declaration, which launched its Foreign Minister at the time. , And it was stated on:

On November 2, 1917, Arthur Balfour, Britain’s Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs, addressed a letter to Lord Rothschild, one of the leaders of the British Jews, as follows:
“I have much pleasure in conveying to you, on behalf of His Majesty’s Government, the following declaration of sympathy which has been submitted to and approved by the Cabinet: His Majesty’s Government view with favour the establishment in Palestine of a national home for the Jewish people, and will use their best endeavours to facilitate the achievement of this object, it being clearly understood that nothing shall be done which may prejudice the civil and religious rights of existing non-Jewish communities in Palestine, or the rights and political status enjoyed by Jews in any other country.
I should be grateful if you would bring this declaration to the knowledge of the Zionist Federation.
Yours sincerely,
Arthur James Balfou."
At that time Jewish has occupied Palestine, with all the documents that they can easily take this land forcefully"
At that time Palestinians life has been changed. The Jewish people started to gather from everywhere to this holly land. They began to build the settlements, and every think they need for; to control this land. Then they took the land forcefully from their owners
When I was on the way to Tormosayya, I saw many attractive things .
I noticed that nobody walking on the path. I wondered why there’s no body walking? And then I realized that this land surrounded by many of settlements. Now I know that people are scared even to walk on the street. They are afraid of weapons and the settlers. We are not safe here even on our streets, in our lands, in our lives, even our actions are limited. As I see it, this can be a cause of immigration.
And then they always do the best to change the features of this land; to prove that this is their land. They think that this is land without people; because of that they deserve to stay especially in this land, as they explain “people without land, and land without people” this is their argument to stay in this land.
It saddens me more than any thing else, when I saw the settlements, and when I see the Israeli flags every where, like they were here more than one hundred years ago. They always seek to a Judaize the land in many ways.
They think that they are better than us, god has specialized them. Well I believe that they worked so hard to get in this country, and to make everybody think that they have the rights to take our lands and to kill us, by telling people that we scare them. And kill them, but everyone at this earth with a brain will notice that they start every time to humiliate and scare and kill us too. I believe that when someone hit u or take something of your stuff, you have to convince him, but what if he does not respond, then the only thing left to do is to take it exactly like he took it from you. I don’t mean to kill them as they did with us ( our grand fathers ), what I mean is, that if someone took a thing from you, and then you did nothing, then you are nothing and you don’t deserve to take back what’s yours.
When I see our lands and mountains are occupied, I feel that there is something in my mind, I don’t know what it is, but its hard to see things should belong to you, in another hands, in another control, what if I want to swim at the dead sea, I want to pray at Al-Aqsa, you know what, I totally cant, maybe am going to kill the fishes. Why always our rights are not complete? And why we can not moving freely in our land? They are dealing with us like we are less than them.
At that day I remembered my original land which calls “DEIR TAREEF”, and what my grandfather told me about it, he said that we had many orange trees and olive trees also, and then I started to draw images in my mind. I think that I prefer to be a villager and farmer more than to live in a city which has many technologies. And to eat what I do not farm, and I do not prefer. I wish if I have a small house beside my trees, and my family is around me as well. And live peacefully.
On a postive note, when I was in a trip with my friends, I noticed that people in “TURMUSAYYA” have strong relations between them, they help each other if someone needs a help or anything they will do their best to give a help.
I saw that the buildings there are close to each other, which makes you feel that there is a good and strong relation with your neighbour. It is as if everyone there is part of a big and understood family. This is also in every cities and villages in Palestine. And I like that how they were treating each other, and how they living in a simple way. But what make me feel sad that when I saw the villages how it was separated and this is what occupation did.
